Getting started

What Everl is and how it works.

What is Everl?

Everl is an in-person way to meet people near you who are up for the same thing, right now. There are no profiles to build, no swiping, and no endless messaging — you appear as an anonymous presence, connect only when it's a mutual yes, and meet in a public place.

It's built for meeting, not messaging: presence over profiles, and the last few metres are handled in the app so you can actually find each other. Everl is 18+.

What's the difference between Social and "Up for more"?

Social is the mainstream side — meeting people nearby for a drink, an activity, or just company. "Up for more" is the 18+ side for adults who want something more. It's a mode, not a separate app, and it's gated by age verification, not by payment.

Your Everl+ membership works across both — one entitlement, both worlds. The age check is an access gate for the adult side; it is never a paywall.

How do meets work?

You go "on" when you actually mean it. Everl shows who nearby is in the same mood, without showing anyone a profile. When it's a mutual yes, you're connected and the app guides you together to a public spot — warmer, warmer, here — so the last few metres are easy.

Nobody sees a photo or a name unless and until you both choose to. You meet in the open, on your terms.

Do I need to verify my age?

To use the 18+ ("Up for more") side, yes — you verify once that you're 18 or over. The check is run by our verification partner (Shufti) using either a quick facial age-estimation or an ID document.

It happens once, the image isn't kept, and it only gates the adult side. The mainstream Social side doesn't require it.

Membership & billing

Everl+, the free trial, changing or cancelling.

What does Everl+ cost?

Everl+ has three options: Monthly at £17.99/month; Annual at £179/year (that's £14.99/month, ~17% cheaper) billed once a year; or a one-off 30-day pass at £24 with no auto-renew.

New members start with a 3-day free trial — £0 today, and you can cancel any time before it ends and pay nothing.

How does the free trial work?

The trial is 3 days and costs £0. We save your card but don't charge it during the trial. If you don't cancel before the 3 days are up, it rolls into the plan you chose and the first charge is taken then — we email you the exact date in advance.

Cancel any time during the trial from your account and you won't be charged. The free trial is once per person.

How do I cancel Everl+?

Open your account, choose Cancel Everl+, and confirm. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and there are no further charges after that.

If you're on the native app (iOS/Android), manage or cancel the subscription through your App Store / Google Play account, since that's where the purchase lives.

How do I change my plan?

In your account you can switch between Monthly and Annual. Upgrading charges only the prorated difference for the time left in your current period; downgrading credits the unused time. The change and the exact amounts show on your Stripe invoice.

Can I get a refund?

We look at refunds case by case. If something went wrong — a duplicate charge, a trial that didn't cancel when you cancelled it, or a charge you didn't recognise — contact support with the details and we'll put it right.

For a change of mind on a subscription, cancelling stops all future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Your statutory rights as a UK consumer still apply. To request a refund, message support and include the reason and the date of the charge.

What will show on my bank statement?

Charges appear under a neutral descriptor (HPR SYSTM) — nothing on your statement or receipts names Everl or references the adult side. Billing is discreet by design.

Safety & privacy

How we keep you anonymous and safe.

Is Everl anonymous and discreet?

Yes — anonymity is the whole point. You appear as a presence, not a profile: no photo, no name, no public grid. Nobody can see who you are unless you both choose to connect, and even then only what you've agreed to share.

We keep minimal data, hold no profiles, and your presence fades when you go offline. Billing is neutral (see the statement question above).

What data do you keep?

As little as possible. We use approximate location to show who's nearby and never share your exact location with anyone. We don't keep profiles, and presence data fades. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account.

Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

How does the safety / panic feature work?

During a meet you can trigger the safety control at any time. It opens a real message (SMS / WhatsApp / call) to a safety contact you've saved, pre-filled with a location link — it isn't just an in-app note. Save a safety contact in your account so it's ready.

If you ever feel unsafe, prioritise your safety and contact emergency services (999 in the UK).

How do I report or block someone?

You can report and block from within or after a meet. A block is enforced — you and that person will never be matched again. Reports go to a human moderation queue that we monitor; serious or repeated reports are escalated and can lead to account action.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services first.

Recovery, deletion, and email issues.

How do I recover my account?

Use the recovery option and enter the email you signed up with — we'll send a link to restore access. If you're stuck, contact support with the email address you used and we'll help you back in.

How do I delete my account and data?

In your account, choose Delete account & all data and confirm. This cancels any subscription, removes your membership, push subscriptions and interest data, and wipes the device — nothing is kept server-side. It can't be undone.

I didn't get my confirmation email

First check your spam / promotions folder — a new sender can land there. Note that we only send the confirmation on a genuinely new signup; if that email address already joined, we don't re-send it (an anti-abuse measure), so you may already be on the list.

If a brand-new address still gets nothing after a few minutes, contact support and we'll look into it.
